- The formation of "The Dragonbusters" Star Wars club. It is set up by computer enthusiasts, as a rival gang
to a group who owned B.B.C. Dragon computers, in a Croydon High School Playground.

- Victoria Hills appears on Barry Norman`s "Film 89 - Film Fans Report" to promote "Dragonbusters".
Rick Blakey, Derek Tate and Gerald Crotty all saw it and joined the club by late summer.
Jason and Craig travel to Italy to meet the "Alderan" and "Cloud City" Star Wars groups.

- After reading through 1989 and 1990 back issues of the "U.K.S.W.F.C." Magazine,
Robert Cole responds to a now months old request in a L.o.C. by Craig Stevens for phone friends, a
phone call which would be the first of many, until close to the end of the year, Craig suggests
to Robert Cole to come to a Cheshunt Mart in February the next year.
October - Star Wars trilogy comes out on widescreen video for the first time.

- Bob Cole rides his newly purchased, second hand, B.M.W. K 100 RT motorcycle, from Worcester
through London to Cheshunt meeting at Wolsey Hall to experience his first Sci-fi Mart.
Attendees included Craig Stevens, Jason Grant, Derek Tate,
Louise Turner, Jason Joiner and partner Andrea Swinsco. There is a party at
Jason Joiner`s house, before
Robert and Jenny Cole travel to Cambridge University to stay the night.

It's possible Joe met Rob Cole (as he was known then), who couldn't stay for the film because he had to return
back to Worcester.

fanzine. Jamie also produces "Gutter Rag" a comedy edition of SW goodies.

Summer - After 18 months of badgering Louise Turner to no effect, Jenny Cole finally

September - A M.o.Y. get together sleep over weekend at
Suzanne Godsalve`s flat in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, Essex.
Saturday 18th September - CS interviewed on 'Cinema 2' (BBC Radio 2) about UKSWFC.
Saturday 25th September - Get-together in Romford to see 'The Fugitive' at the Odeon cinema. CS, JPS. Joe`s first look at Craig's collection of SW stuff.
October - - A M.o.Y. get together sleep over weekend at
Suzanne Godsalve`s flat.

October - After contributing to the secondary fanzine of the M.o.Y. for some months, Jenny Cole
suggested whilst Bob visited London Southgate Asda that he should contact Jean Ward on the I.o.M. for a
copy of the S.W.H.S.??, and a pen friendship develops.
By the end of 1993, he was in regular pen friendship contact with M.o.Y.
Agents Craig Stevens, Louise Turner, Rik Blakey, Jamie Spracklen and Jean Ward.
First weekend in November - "Novacon 23" at the Royal Angus Hotel, Birmingham. The main guest was author Stephen Baxter.

Sunday, 31st July - Visit to Derek Tate at his parents residence in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk. They looked at his growing collection.

The Venue, with several of those who made First Elstree, including Laurie Calvert. A Suzanne sleep over followed.

Sunday 9th June - 'Empire Day 4' at The Coliseum, Watford, organised by Jason Joiner. Joe Sales helped out with Craig's stall,
and made enquiries about MoY, which he joined soon after. Several others were at this event in Watford, including Derek Tate, Kevin Goodwin and Andrea Swinsco.
We were both involved in the Star Wars style stage show! Derek was an Emperors Royal Guard.
Saturday 29th June - Celebration of Elstree Studios at The Venue - film show and concert.
Guest appearances by Garrick Hagon, Denis Lawson, Dave Prowse and others. CS, JG, JPS,
LC (who appears on stage in stormtrooper uniform!). Also a weekend of
